The countdown has begun! From June 4 to 6, 2025, the EUEW will gather in the heart of Helsinki, Finland, to celebrate our 70th Platinum Anniversary — a milestone that reflects seven decades of collaboration, progress, and collective success.

Since its founding, EUEW has been the unifying voice of electrical distributors across Europe, today representing 16 National Federations, 1,050+ companies, and over 103,000 professionals across 8,250 points of sale. Today, as we navigate economic challenges and some uncertainty, the role of our organization is more crucial than ever. Therefore, this year’s convention will, among others, focus on how we can shape the future — together.

What’s in Store for You?

For this special edition, we’re doing things a bit differently. With the support of our Finnish member STK and Ms Sallamaari Muhonen and her team, we’ve designed an experience that immerses you in the heart of Helsinki. Instead of staying in just one venue, we’ll be exploring multiple iconic locations across the city!

Your stay will be at the Scandic Grand Central Hotel, an architectural masterpiece that combines timeless Art Nouveau elegance with modern comfort. Situated in Helsinki’s vibrant city centre, this hotel is the perfect base.

Once checked in, we kick off the event on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, with a Welcome Reception at Helsinki’s magnificent City Hall. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to continue networking at Valkoinen Sali, a historical venue just around the corner.

On Thursday, June 5, we gather at Paasitorni, a venue rich in history. Originally built in 1908 as Helsinki’s Workers’ House, it has since been transformed into a conference space while preserving its historic architecture. Paasitorni is also part of an international project to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

After a day of engaging discussions and insights, it’s time to celebrate! We’ll mark EUEW’s 70th anniversary in style, with a grand evening dedicated to our shared success.

1-on-1 Business Networking

On Friday, June 6, we’re introducing a special morning session for manufacturers and wholesalers to engage in speed networking — a unique opportunity to build new partnerships and strengthen business connections.

An Exclusive Finnish Culinary Experience

What’s a visit to Finland without a taste of its authentic cuisine? We’re thrilled to announce that Mikko Kaukonen, Finland’s Chef of the Year 2019 and Bocuse d’Or representative (2020-2021), will be curating a spectacular Finnish buffet experience.

Expect a feast of Finland’s most iconic flavors, prepared by one of the country’s most celebrated chefs, all set in the stunning Valkoinen Sali — one of Helsinki’s most historically significant venues, just a short walk from the hotel. This is a gastronomic experience you won’t forget!
