LightingEurope Guidelines

New ecodesign and labelling rules for lighting will apply next year.

LightingEurope, the voice of Europe’s lighting manufacturers, has published guidelines on to help manufacturers and suppliers understand and apply the new complex rules to lighting products and to help market surveillance authorities enforce them.

The guidelines were released on the day the regulation was published in December 2019 and an updated version was made available in October 2020, along with guidelines on the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU.
