In my first email, I introduced myself and shared my vision for the EUEW. However, for those I have not yet had the opportunity to reach, allow me to introduce myself again.
My name is Judith de Wolf-van der Poest Clement. I am 54 years old, originally from the Netherlands, and have been living in beautiful Sweden for the past four years. In December 2024, I joined EUEW as an Executive Support Assistant, where I handle administrative and communication responsibilities. This role is an exciting new challenge for me, marking a transition from the pharmaceutical sector to the technology sector.
The past two months in my role have flown by, and I am truly delighted to be part of the EUEW team. I have already had the pleasure of connecting with many of you via email and receiving warm responses. I look forward to meeting even more of you in person at the Convention in Helsinki later this year.
One of the key reasons I joined EUEW is to enhance communication and collaboration between EUEW Members. In 2024, feedback indicated that, following the introduction of a new work program, EUEW's visibility was not always apparent to everyone. To address this, we have taken an initial step by featuring members on a rotating basis in our monthly newsletter. This initiative allows us to introduce you to other members of our European association, share key activities, discuss challenges, highlight national-level hot topics, showcase training programs, and present other relevant information. While this undoubtedly enhances visibility, our goal extends beyond that—we hope this initiative will also serve as a catalyst for launching new EUEW Initiative Multipliers and EUEW Legal Expert Updates.
Many of you have responded positively to this initiative, and I am eager to see even more of you participate in the coming months.
Another recent communication initiative is the launch of the official EUEW WhatsApp channel, announced via LinkedIn, X, and the EUEW website. This channel aims to share key information, and provide important announcements that all members should be aware of. If you have not yet joined, I encourage you to do so!
EUEW's mission is to represent the interests of electrical wholesalers in Europe by facilitating their success through knowledge exchange, interest alignment, and strengthening common goals. As part of EUEW Support, our goal is to foster stronger unity among all members. However, we cannot achieve this alone—we need your support! If you have any suggestions on how EUEW can better serve you or any innovative ideas for improving collaboration, please share them with us. With your input, we can strengthen our network, assist each other, and exchange valuable insights.
To conclude, I would like to emphasise an important call to action regarding the EUEW 2025 Convention, which will be held in Helsinki, Finland, from 4–6 June. This year marks EUEW’s 70th anniversary, a significant milestone that we will celebrate at the Convention. The theme will centre on reflecting on our past while looking towards the future.
