Ulrich Liedtke now leads the German Association of Electrical Wholesalers (VEG)

The German Association of Electrical Wholesalers (Bundesverband des Elektro-Großhandels e.V., VEG) welcomes a new president. On 8 November 2021, Ulrich Liedtke was unanimously elected at the annual meeting of the VEG Advisory Board in Berlin.

Ulrich Liedtke, Executive Vice President Electrical Wholesale Central and Eastern Europe at Wuerth, is no stranger to leading a major trade association. He has been an integral part of the VEG board since 2015 and was President of the European Union of Electrical Wholesalers (EUEW) from 2017 to 2019.

At the VEG, Ulrich Liedtke takes over from Holger Heckle, whose term ended in accordance with the VEG Statutes after six years in office. Liedtke looks forward to assuming his new role and seeks to further promote the digital transformation in Germany in close cooperation with all VEG members, electrical installers and manufacturers.
